  1. Family Movie Night Series - Angry Birds

    August 26, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM @ Jack Farrell Park

    August 26 — Angry Birds at Jack Farrell Park. Every fourth Friday of the month, the City is hosting a free movie night series for the family at various parks where nearly two hundred residents have attended. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a movie with your family, friends, and neighbors. There will be free popcorn, a DJ & Dancing in the park. Movies will begin at sundown. Festivities begin at 7:00 p.m.

  2. CLEAN Zones Neighborhood Clean Up

    August 27, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    The St. Francis of Assisi Church, through a grant provided by The California Endowment, in collaboration with the East Palo Alto Police Department and support from the Mural Music and Arts Project (MMAP) is spearheading a neighborhood clean up and revitalization campaign, ‘CLEAN-Zones.’ Rodney Halapio, the CLEAN Zones Program Manager, will facilitate Non-Profits volunteer days and activities throughout East Palo Alto. Activities include: litter clean ups, graffiti abatement, and storm preparations. Local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to sign up for service dates in advance, and will receive a stipend for their clean-up efforts.
