California Lifts Regional Stay At Home Order – Virus Remains “Widespread” in San Mateo County

This action will allow for outdoor dining and personal services to resume with required modifications.  San Mateo County is not imposing additional local restrictions and will remain in alignment with the State.  The County will now return to the “purple” Tier 1 in the state’s four-tiered, color-coded system for loosening and tightening restrictions.  The purple tier is the most restrictive as the COVID-19 virus is considered “widespread” in the community.
