Our Mission
To provide and promote broad-based recreation opportunities through people, parks, and programs. This is done through facility development and enhancement, promotion of life-long learning, facilitation of community-wide information dissemination, promotion of creative artistic expression, physical activity and healthy habits, facilitation of socio-cultural expression, and the encouragement of the preservation and enjoyment of the outdoors.
About Us
The role of the Community Services & Recreation Division is to cultivate activities by connecting people, parks, and programs. It is our hope that together we will shine a light on our community's image, human & economic development, safety, security, and health & wellness.
Our activities rely heavily on interdepartmental and community partnerships to deliver services that enhance the quality of life for East Palo Alto residents, with a focused effort to increase engagement.
The Community Services & Recreation Division comprises Recreation, Youth Services and Senior Services. Each staff person is listed below:
