The Internship Program with Senator Becker’s District Office seeks students interested in gaining experience in public service, local government, and policy. Intern duties include but are not limited to: research, policy analysis, community engagement, letter writing, and administrative support. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate in a team setting and shadow the District Office staff members on issues related to District 13. The internship program offers a hands-on experience for those looking to enhance their academic studies with real-world community engagement and public service.

Qualifications

Applicants must be a high school or college student and able to commit 10-20 hours a week for a 6-week, part-time internship. We are looking for students who have a strong work ethic, a great interest in serving their community, and a passion to learn more about District 13 and public service!

Opportunities

The Internship Program welcomes all students interested in one or more of the fields below. Interns will have the opportunity to expand their interests in other fields as well.
