Request for Congregate Meal Catering Services Proposals

The City of East Palo Alto is requesting proposals from qualified organizations/individuals to provide nutritious catered meals for the City’s Congregate Meal Program to Older Adults. The City intends to contract with a qualified food service provider capable of consistently delivering meals that are:

• Nutritious and balanced;
• Fresh, safe, and appealing;
• Appropriate for older adults;
• Responsive to dietary restrictions and health-related dietary needs when required;
• Culturally appropriate and reflective of the community served;
• Delivered on schedule and at appropriate serving temperatures; and
• Prepared and handled in compliance with all applicable federal, State, County, and local food safety requirements.
