I am an architect who is designing a 135 unit apartment building with very small studio units that do not really include any cooking, just a microwave in each unit.
As a result we plan to include a common area kitchen that the tenants can use. I would like to get information on the requirements for this kitchen facility.
I am told that this kitchen will need to be like a commercial kitchen, but I have seen other common area kitchens that look very residential.
Who should I contact to clarify these requirements.
Thanks,
Bob Hightower, AIA

Hi Alvin,
Please see request.
Please let me know if this does not go to Planning and I can route to the correct department.
Thank you.
