Good Evening,
My name is Pedro Garcia, and I am resident at 2371 Cooley Ave. The issue at hand would be the amount of traffic that builds on Cooley Ave after you pass Runnymede Ave between 4-6pm because of non residents who want to merge onto University Ave to access the Dumbarton Bridge. This creates a huge amount of traffic, it takes me 5-10 minutes to drive 500ft to access my driveway. This normally takes 30 seconds. This doesn't include impatient drivers who drive on the wrong side of the street to skip the traffic. This is a obvious safety hazard that puts pedestrians and other drivers at risk. I've noticed the progress East Palo Alto is making to improve quality of life and traffic. Hopefully this issue can be addressed so residents on Cooley Ave don't struggle to get home after a long day. Thank You
