If a business does not need an encroachment permit then what does it need to conduct a business on a public right of way? I am referring to two specific businesses, one barber shop operating out of a RV on the 2200 block of Menalto Avenue/Garden Street and a food vendor operating at the corner of Euclid and East Bayshore Rd. Then i would like to see the conditions and requirements they have to meet to operate a business.

ThankYou.

Good Afternoon,

Encroachment permits are typically pulled for construction work or temporary closures in the City right of way. Engineering typically doesn't issue encroachment permits for businesses to operate. I also checked our records and we don't have any active encroachment permits on Euclid and Donohoe.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, you may reach me at bzaro@cityofepa.org or engineering@cityofepa.org

Thank you,

Batool Zaro
