There's been building activity on the bank of Sanfrancisquito Creek. Some construction material being brought over and the bank soil being leveled to make flat area for space to build. The person(s?) had been moving 2x4's, plywood, etc. onto the area for a couple of months, but earlier supplies had been washed away due creek water rising from the rain.
I first reported to Santa Clara Valley Water by phone, and the staff had taken down the information. Nothing happened, so I used online service to report it with a few photos. The staff replied that it is not in their jurisdiction. I then reported to San Mateo county office, and no action. I have not found anyone who cares to deal with this situation, but it doesn't look like a right thing to do to build a structure on a creek bank.

Thank you for raising this concern. The City and the Joint Powers Authority are aware of this activity occurring in a portion of the creek and there is an ongoing effort to address this. However, I am unsure which exact location you are referring to, and if it is different than the location we are aware of.
