I need Water Meter Readings for 5 months from June to October 2023 as I was told by a Veolia technician that Water Meter Readings are available only if I call Veolia. As I experienced before, nobody answers calls or calls back (the automatic message states that to leave a message is the only option). Is it acceptable that Water Meter Readings are not disclosed on the invoice or online, by the way?
The reason that I need Water Meter Readings is that it was found that Veolia made them up as techs thought my meter electronically transmits readings from solar powered meter, but it turned out that techs needed to manually write down the numbers. With my previous ticket 35764538, Veolia tech replaced my meter with solar powered one.
My water bills for August and September were $75 and $150, respectively. It was found that there was no leak taken care of on my end, but Veolia techs skipped readings and charges me for arbitrary amounts. Then, my water bill for October was my normal amount. There should be refund of at least $175 if the new meter started with the correct number of the old meter.
I understand that Veolia is a contractor, not part of the government. However, residents have no other choice and need to be served fairly.
P.S. I had very dark colored water coming out of taps at the end of October and am concerned about the water quality as well.

I have never been contacted by Veolia, which is why I submitted this Ticket. City of East Palo Alto has contracted out to Veolia, which does not mean the City is not responsible for this failure. Please effectively supervise and make sure that residents receive the services they deserve. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter.
