City Wide Bus Stop Improvement Project

The City will be upgrading and improving the bus stops within the City at both City maintained stops and Samtrans maintained stops. In 2019, the City received $1Million to improve the bus stops from the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) grant as part of the Light Tree housing project. These improvements will include new bus shelters, trash cans, bike racks, concrete improvements, new greenery, and other amenities.
The project was awarded to Sposeto Engineering at the 12/14/2023 City Council meeting. Construction work is anticipated to begin in Early 2024.
