Can the street safety on GARDEN STREET, between Clarke Avenue and Pulgas Avenue be enhanced so that students biking, skating or walking to and from SCHOOL can do so with more confidence that their safety is not in peril? Students are forced onto the driving area of a narrow street inasmuch as there are NO sidewalks, curb or gutters. Overall this is a daily scary situation, especially early morning and late afternoon.
Frankly, the area immediately could benefit from
1- More speed bumps.
2- Better signage (slow, school ahead, watch for children, etc.).

The street lights are out in the 400-block of Wisteria Drive. It may be more widespread, but it is not safe for me to survey the neighborhood in the dark.
