Green street is in shambles and is in desperate need of repairs (Pot holes), much needed sidewalks, and speed bumps. On a daily basis cars are traveling between Clarke and Cooley at dangerously high speeds (50+ mph). Green street is a common street for young kids to take to and from school and with cars traveling at such high speeds could lead to a tragic but preventable accident. It would also be advantageous to install a 4 way stop at both ends of Green street to create safer intersections for all.

In addition to replacing these it would be great if digital driver's speed limit radar display signs were also installed along Kavanaugh on both side of the street. Many neighbors are also in favor of street bumps. I think that they were discussed in the mobility study and Public Works & Transportation Commission but I am not sure on the status.

On Thursday July 28th 2022 the even numbered side of Illinois Street did not receive street sweeping services. The normal schedule is the 2nd and 4th Thursday every month for the even numbered side and the 2nd and fourth Friday for the odd numbered side. However the odd numbered side received sweeping services for the second consecutive week in a row, the 5th Friday. Also of note there has been no parking enforcement in the area. Thanks and Have A Great Day.
