East Palo Alto Police Respond to Threat at The Primary School
This afternoon at approximately 2:30 PM, the East Palo Alto Police Department received a report from an unidentified caller who threatened to “shoot up” The Primary School.
Officers from the East Palo Alto Police Department, with assistance from the Menlo Park Police Department, immediately responded to the scene to ensure the safety of students, staff, and community members. Out of an abundance of caution, the school was secured and searched.
Once the area was deemed safe, children were safely released to their parents. Fortunately, there were no injuries and no physical threat discovered.
The East Palo Alto Police Department is actively investigating this incident to identify the individual responsible for the threatening call.
