$10,000 Reward Offered in 2019 East Palo Alto Murder Case
EAST PALO ALTO, CA – Mothers Against Murder, in partnership with the East Palo Alto Police Department, is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Juan Carlos Solis, who has been identified as the suspect in the 2019 murder of Victor Gomez-Rios.
On September 7, 2019, officers responded to the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road, where Mr. Gomez-Rios was found shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle. After an extensive investigation, Solis was identified as the suspect in this case. Despite ongoing efforts, he remains at large.
The East Palo Alto Police Department and Mothers Against Murder are urging community members to come forward with any information that may assist in bringing justice to the Gomez-Rios family.
A flyer containing a 2019 photograph of Juan Carlos Solis is being released along with this statement to assist in the search.
