Inclusionary Housing In-Lieu Fees
Staff updates the In-Lieu Fees on an annual basis using the methodology outlined in the Inclusionary Housing Guidelines below. On July 16, 2025 the City Council adopted the updated fees at a public hearing. These updated chapters will be incorporated into the Guidelines.
- The For-Sale/Ownership In-Lieu Fee for FY 2025-26 is $268,800
- The Rental In-Lieu Fee for FY 2025-26 is $299,200

Previous In-Lieu Fee Adoptions
The City Council adopted Inclusionary Housing In-Lieu Fees for Fiscal Year 21-22 for For-Sale and Rental on October 20, 2020, the fees for Fiscal Year 22-23 on June 7, 2022, the fees for Fiscal Year 23-24 on July 18, 2023, the fees for Fiscal Year 24-25 on July 16, 2024, and the fees for Fiscal Year 25-26 on July 16, 2025. The current Inclusionary In-Lieu Fees can be found in their respective chapters (Chapters 2A and 2B) in the Guidelines below.
